Elisa's Salon and Day Spa is owned and managed by Elisa Thomas. Born in Italy. Moved to Maryland in 1986. Resident of Middletown for 16 years. Married for 29 years to Jerry Thomas. Mother of two daughters, Denise and Angela. A grandmother too! Fulfilling a dream, became licensed in the State of Maryland as a cosmetologist. Educated at Redken's New Color and Cutting Techniques hosted in Richmond, VA and attended The International Beauty Show held in New York, NY. Purveyor of select Redken and Keune hair products.
Soon to release her new line of cosmetics called "etc..."

Tina has been a stylist for 27 years. She was trained in Vidal Sassoon cutting methods and trained in New York City under John and Suzanne Chadwick and in Los Angeles, California with Sebastian. She attended numerous International Beauty Shows.
She specializes in Women's short hair and men's precision cuts.
Tina has been married to David for 27 years and has two daughters, Shawn and Brooke.

Tierney has been a resident of Fredeick for 10 years. She graduated from Madison Institute of Cosmetology in Westminster, Maryland as a cosmetologist. She has had additional education and training in Paul Mitchell cutting and color techniques.Tierney has attended the Fashion Focus Hair Show in Baltimore.
Tierney enjoys all aspects of Cosmetology. Most of all, she enjoys making your visit "all about you" when you walk through the door.

Brooke is a graduate of the Frederick School of Cosmetology. She is a Junior Stylist at Elisa's Salon and Day Spa. Brooke has been to Columbia Beauty Supply Hair Shows in Ocean City in 2008 and 2009, where she contuinued her training in Color and Cutting Techniques. Brooke is also trained in Bioelements products, the skin care line at Elisa's Salon and Day Spa and Kuene Hair Color also used at our Salon. Brooke enjoys Coloring Cutting and Perm services.
Valerie is a Master Sylist with more than 16 years of hair styling experience. Valerie has worked for most of her career in the Frederick, MD area and was with Aveda in Los Angeles. Valerie has attended the T&G Academy in Pittsburg as well as numerous seminars in color and cuts. Her specialties include dimensional coloring, long and short hair cutting, and texturizing services.
Valerie has lived in Middletown for the last 11 years with her husband Phil. Valerie's passion in hair led her to the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy where she took 1st place in all interschool and state hairstyling competitions that she participated in. Valerie trained with the Paul Mitchell Team in Las Vegas and Maryland learning color, highlighting, cutting, retexturing and styling techniques. She trained with the world renowned Carmine and Beth Minardi from New York and attended their three day seminar in Chicago with colorists from all over the world. She has worked with the Four Time North American Hairstylist Award Winner, Vivienne Mackinder learning about styling and photo work. Valerie has recently been published in the salon publication Inspire as well as being published in the Frederick Magazine.
Bernadette Naegele lives in Middletown with her husband and two daughters. She also has a son at the University of Maryland. She is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage and is nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She is a member of the Associated Bodyworks and Massage Professionals, and is designated a Certified Massage Therapist by the Maryland Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Bernadette has also completed supplemental courses in Raindrop Therapy and Stone Therapy Massage.
Cynthia graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in March of 1999. She has worked in a variety of settings, including Chiropractors offices, Corporate settings, and wellness centers. She enjoys working on chronic areas of tightness and pain and helping find ways to bring relief and relaxation to those areas of concern. Energy work has always been a fascination to her, and she studied Chakra Balancing in 2001. Pregnancy Massage was added to her resume in August of 2003 and she studied Reflexology in October 2008.
Pat graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2001. While Swedish and Deep Tissue massage are her most often used modalities, she also has years of experience in Hot Stone massage and Pregnancy massage. Pat is also a Reiki master and has training in other energy-based therapies as well as the Raindrop Technique. Her skill and healing touch come together to meet the individual needs of each client.


Christine graduated from the prestigious and world renowned Von Lee International School of Esthetics in 1985. Christine has also continued her education at the Dermal Group and Bioelements Conservatory of Esthetics. She specializes in facials, waxing including the popular "Brazalian Wax", brow and lash tinting, body wraps and makeup. She is committed to giving her clients exceptional treatments with nurturing compassionate care.


Ann is a senior cosmetologist. She graduated from the Frederick Career and Technology Center and has been a stylist for 6 years. Ann attended hair shows in New York, Baltimore and Ocean City, MD. She received additional education in Italy for Wella Color. Ann completed the Paul Mitchell Associates program and the Roy Peters Chemistry Class. She also attended the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas in 2007 and 2009. Ann enjoys styling, cutting, and dimensional coloring.













Emma is a Senior Stylist with 5 years of experience. She is a graduate of The Paul Mitchell School. She has attended hair shows in New York, Chicago, and Atlanta and has assisted backstage for Stephanie Kocielski and Scott Cole during a Las Vegas hair show. And for Angus Mitchelll at the Baltimore hair show. She enjoys all aspects of hair artistry but enjoys dimensional color and textured cuts the most. Emma is also one of our Nail Technicians who specializes in natural nail care and OPI gel manicures. As a Certified Reflexologist she can create total body relaxation with a Reflexology treatment or pedicure.
