Valerie has lived in Middletown for the last 11 years with her husband Phil. She has 3 daughters and 2 grandsons whom light up her life. Valerie's passion in hair led her to the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy where she took 1st place in all interschool and state hairstyling competitions that she participated in.

Valerie trained with the Paul Mitchell Team in Las Vegas and Maryland learning color, highlighting, cutting, retexturing and styling techniques. She trained with the world renowned Carmine and Beth Minardi from New York and attended their three day seminar in Chicago with colorists from all over the world. She has worked with the Four Time North American Hairstylist Award Winner, Vivienne Mackinder learning about styling and photo work. Valerie has recently been published in the salon publication Inspire as well as being published in the Frederick Magazine.
